OBS Integration
Everything StreamScouter shows in the browser is also available as two panels you can paste into OBS Studio. One goes on your stream, the other stays beside it for you.
What you can do
- A viewer stats panel for a browser source: current viewers, the peak, and a trend graph, on a transparent background so it sits over your scene.
- A viewer list panel for a custom browser dock: the people in your chat, listed for you and never shown on stream.
- Moderation straight from that list. Grant or revoke VIP and moderator, time a viewer out, or ban them, without leaving OBS.
- Both panels are configured through their URL: theme, font size, display language, whether the graph is shown and over what range, how many viewers to list, avatars, and watch time.
- Available in the same eight languages as the rest of StreamScouter, or set to follow your site language.
- A connection indicator on each panel shows whether it is receiving updates as they happen, falling back to periodic refreshes, or not connected at all.
- Each panel URL carries a token, and regenerating it invalidates the old URLs immediately.
What it looks like
A viewer statistics panel and a viewer list, both built for OBS browser sources. Either can also sit in a custom dock, so you never have to leave your streaming software.
Works as a custom browser dock in OBS Studio
View viewer list without leaving your stream
Grant VIP/Mod, timeout, or ban with one click
Available in 8 languages for streamers worldwide
How it works
The panels are ordinary web pages, so OBS needs no plugin. The stats panel goes in as a browser source, the viewer list as a custom browser dock.
The token at the end of the URL is what lets a panel read your data without signing in, which is also why the URL should be treated like a password and kept off screen.
The settings live inside the URL. After changing anything, copy the URL again and paste it into OBS, otherwise the panel keeps its old appearance.
Both panels only show data while you are live. Between streams they read as offline and switch over on their own when the next broadcast starts.
Free and Pro
Free plan
Overlay panels are not part of the Free plan. Opening a panel URL without Pro shows an upgrade notice instead of data.
Pro plan
OBS Integration is a Pro feature ($6.99 a month). The URLs, the settings and the moderation permission check are on the OBS Integration page of your dashboard.
PricingFrequently asked questions
Do I need an OBS plugin?
No. Both panels are web pages. The stats panel is added as a browser source and the viewer list as a custom browser dock, both of which are built into OBS Studio.
Will my viewers see the viewer list?
Only if you add it as a browser source. Added as a custom browser dock, which is how moderation works, it stays inside your own OBS window and never appears on stream.
Moderation is not working in the viewer list. Why?
Moderation needs you signed in to StreamScouter inside the dock, and it needs the matching Twitch permissions. Both are checked on the OBS Integration page of the dashboard, which lists any permission that is missing.
What if my panel URL leaks?
Regenerate the token from the dashboard. The old URLs stop working immediately, and you replace them in OBS with the new ones.
Does it work with software other than OBS Studio?
The panels are plain URLs, so any streaming software that can display a web page can show them. The custom browser dock used for moderation is a feature of OBS Studio itself.
