Viewer Tracking
The live viewer list answers who is here now. Viewer Tracking answers who keeps coming back. Choose a viewer and StreamScouter lays out every stream they joined, how long they stayed, and what they did while they were there.
What you can do
- A per-stream breakdown: which streams the viewer joined, their watch time in each, and how many messages they sent.
- Overall figures for that viewer: participation rate, streams joined, total watch time and average watch time.
- A calendar view of the month showing which days they watched, summarised as watch time, chat messages, days watched and streams watched.
- The messages that viewer sent in a given stream, readable in place.
- Engagement over the last 30 days: chat messages, gift subs, bits and channel point redemptions.
- Follow and subscription status, subscription tier, and whether they are a moderator or a VIP.
- Switch the period between the last 7 days, the last 30 days, and all time.

Track engagement history: cheers, gift subs, and more
How it works
Chat messages arrive through Twitch EventSub as they are sent, and are stored against the stream they belong to.
Cheers, subscriptions, gift subs and channel point redemptions each have their own Twitch notification, and those are what the 30-day engagement figures are built from.
History starts when your account is connected. Nothing is reconstructed from before that, so the earlier you sign in, the further back a viewer's record goes.
Free and Pro
Free plan
A free account can open the viewer list and see basic profile information: follow status, subscription status and role. The statistics, the calendar and the stream-by-stream history are not included.

Frequently asked questions
Which plan do I need?
Pro. The list of viewers to choose from is visible on the Free plan, but the statistics, the calendar and the stream-by-stream history are Pro.
Does it cover streams from before I signed up?
No. Tracking starts from the moment your Twitch account is connected to StreamScouter.
Can I read what a viewer said?
Yes. Each stream in the list can be expanded to show that viewer's messages from it.
Are anonymous viewers tracked?
No. Tracking follows Twitch accounts. Someone watching without signing in cannot be identified, so there is nothing to track.
