Stream History
When a stream ends, the numbers usually disappear with it. StreamScouter keeps each one as its own page: how long it ran, how many people were there, what the chat did, and what the stream looked like at the time.
What you can do
- A list of your past streams with title, game, duration, peak and average viewers, and message count.
- Search the list, filter it by game, and sort it by date, viewer count or duration.
- A trend chart across recent streams, plotting average and peak viewers against chat volume.
- Per stream: a viewer graph over the whole broadcast with the peak marked, total and unique viewers, engagement rate, and the games played.
- Thumbnails captured through the broadcast, so a spike in the graph can be matched to what was on screen.
- The same chat statistics as the live page: top chatters, emote rankings and silent viewers.
- Events from the stream, including follows, subscriptions, cheers, raids and hype trains.
How it works
Twitch notifies StreamScouter when a stream starts and when it ends, and those two notifications are what mark the boundaries of each record.
Viewer counts are sampled through the broadcast rather than read once at the end, which is what makes the graph possible.
Thumbnails come from Twitch's own preview image. Twitch refreshes that image on its own schedule, so the frames are spaced out rather than continuous.
Free and Pro
Free plan
A free account sees the complete list of its streams, and can open the detail page for the most recent stream. The judgement is on the newest stream, not on a number of days, so the latest one is always available however long the gap since the last broadcast.
Pro plan
Pro ($6.99 a month) opens the detail page for every stream in the list, with no time limit.

What exactly is limited on the Free plan?
The list itself is not limited: a free account sees every stream it has recorded, with the figures shown in the list. What is limited is the detail page, which opens for the most recent stream only.
How far back does the history go?
There is no time limit on Pro. The record starts when your Twitch account is connected to StreamScouter, so it goes back as far as that.
Can I compare streams against each other?
Yes. The trend chart on the list page plots recent streams next to each other, with viewers on one axis and chat volume on the other.
Does it include streams from before I signed up?
No. Past broadcasts cannot be reconstructed, so the history begins at the point your account is connected.
