Follower and Subscriber Analysis

Twitch shows a follower count. StreamScouter shows the list behind it: who followed and when, who subscribed and at which tier, and who is no longer there.

What you can do

  • A follower list with the date each person followed, searchable and filterable.
  • An unfollowed list: the accounts that used to follow you and no longer do.
  • A subscriber list with tier (1, 2, 3 or Prime), and whether the subscription was gifted or bought by the viewer.
  • An unsubscribed list for subscriptions that have ended.
  • Totals with gained and lost over a recent period, and a breakdown by broadcaster type: partner, affiliate or regular account.
  • Recent followers and recent subscribers on the dashboard overview, so the last few days are visible without opening anything.

How it works

New follows, new subscriptions, gift subs and subscriptions ending each arrive as Twitch EventSub notifications, so they land as they happen.

Twitch does not publish an event when someone unfollows. StreamScouter finds those by comparing its stored follower list against Twitch's on a schedule and marking the accounts that are no longer in it.

That comparison is guarded. If the answer from Twitch comes back looking incomplete, the unfollow step is skipped for that round rather than declaring a large part of your audience gone.

Frequently asked questions

Am I told the moment someone unfollows?

No. Twitch does not send an unfollow event to anyone. The list is refreshed by comparing against Twitch on a schedule, so an unfollow appears at the next comparison rather than instantly.

Does it cover subscriptions that ended?

Yes. Ended subscriptions have their own list, and the subscriber list distinguishes gifted subscriptions from ones the viewer bought.

Which plan do I need?

Free. Follower and subscriber analysis is not restricted.

Can I see it without an account?

Yes. There is a demo for follower analysis and another for subscriber analysis, both on sample data.
